  1. Someone once told me spraying 409 would help break up the glue, and the strips would come right off. I have also heard using stream would help. I suggest going to HGTV.com. They have alot of home tips, and I have seen them remove wallpaper on some of the shows.

  2. I hate wallpaper too.  I just removed some from my parents house.  I used a mixture of equal parts fabric softener and water.  Use a sponge and just soak it on.  Make sure you get the wallpaper really wet.  It comes off great.  But of course this depends on what type of wall paper was used.  Some high quality wallpapers are a little harder to get off.

  3. use  sugar soap in some water  that should soak in and it will then come off easy

  4. Yup, I pretty much hate wallpaper also. I have spent many hours removing it. I use a product called DIF, which you should be able to find at your local hardware store. You will probably have to remove it in 2 stages, the outside paper, the the inner liner with the glue. Be sure to let the product soak on the paper and you may have to reapply to keep it wet if it evaporates.
