Kenya have set sights on securing a place in the World Twenty20 Championship next year but they will have to perform well in the qualifiers to achieve their target.
In order to make themselves ready for the big battle, the Kenyans are set to tour http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Zimbabwe-c3045 ahead of the qualifying round of the T20 championship.

The eight-mach competition against Namibia will kick off on November 2 while the Kenya will take on Zimbabwean sides from November 15, 2011 onwards.
Kenya’s chairman of selectors, Alpesh Vadher, admitted that the recent East Africa Premier League showed up some serious weak points in the players’ capabilities for the shortest version of the game.
He shared that the upcoming tour to Namibia and Zimbabwe will help players work on their frailties and gear up for the mega T20 competition, set to be played in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Sri-Lanka-c758 in 2012.
"Following the completion of the East Africa Premier League these two tours will be crucial in developing our player's skills in this format, ahead of the T20 World Cup qualifying tournament next March," Vadher said.
"The EAPL has shown us that our players have a lot to learn about playing Twenty20 and the more matches we can play against suitable opposition the better. The two squads selected give opportunities to a number of players to show they have the ability to
make the squad next year," added the former Kenya cricketer who served his country in 18 One-dayers.
The Kenyan selectors have already named two separate 16-member squads for the imminent trips to Namibia and Zimbabwe respectively.
Although, the Kenyan cricket administration is keen to send full-strength crews to Namibia and Zimbabwe, they will miss http://www.senore.com/Cricket/T-Mishra-c2629 and Runish Gudhka - the three players who are not available for the selection.
