East Europe/West Asia finds?

Question

I've notice that there seems to be some important finds coming out of that area. Can anyone give me a summary of what are some thoughts about this area. Thanks. (I'm not affected by food related insults)

I visited this area last year, and the Black Sea region, from the Ukraine, to Romania, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Bulgaria and parts of Turkey, is where the "Eastern Gate", according to Eric Trinkaus, of Washington University of Saint Louis, is located...

This is where the Cro-Magnon entered Europe from, 40,000+ years ago, and apparently mixed with Neanderthals, as at least 5 Hybrid skeletal remains have been found in this area alone...
