East Kent approx 2.50pm GMT earthquake? bomb? or Shoeburyness?

My house shook. It was a bit like the shakes and rattles we get from Shoeburyness, but much bigger. Anyone else have it/know what it was?

  1. I felt it,I live in shoeburyness,it was probably from the MOD

    therefore we'll never know for sure.


  2. Really?  Like the one in Folkestone last year?  I am in East Kent but I haven't felt anything.

  3. The MOD have a firing range at Shoeburyness.

    My guess it is connected.

  6. I felt it too. I am a few hundred yards from the seafront in East Kent and was told by people in beach huts facing the wind farm that there was a "mushroom cloud" in that direction at the time of the explosion. My guess is that Shoeburyness is behind it.
