Eastenders does Jase really Die?

Because on the eastenders website it tells you whos leaving .... and jase isnt on there so does he really die in eastenders????

jase is supposed to get beaten up by his crew and is put into hospital but obviously does not die because there is no record of him leaving eastenders ( i hope this helped )

I read he does die, in saving his son!  Billie gets it big time from Honey when she finds out what he's been up to - I think I read Honey is leaving?  Pity about Billie because his character has done a complete flip-flop from how he was when he first came into the story.
