Easter projects for preschoolers??

Question

I am going to college for early childhood and I've been putting in hours at a lab site (Headstart and Early Readiness) I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for fun art projects I could do with them. Preschoolers are so much fun!!!!

take a pin and make a hole in each end of the egg and blow it out and then decorate the egg or chip it to make a 3-d scene.

take egg cartons and make tulips or small baskets, tie or glue or sew together.

Get some glitter, and paper, glue. Make rabbits, crosses and and put glue on it and let the children sprinkle glitter.

make playdoe easter ornaments.

use fingerpaint and make rabbits, eggs,

make chains, cut pretty color paper and glue chains together.

Make bunny masks that the kids can color and wear.Take construction paper and cut out bunny patterns. Then hole punch some holes in the mask .Then tie some string in the holes.Then tell the kids they can color on them however they would like.If the school allows it then let them wear it during class.

Hi,

I taught preschool for ten years.  One Easter project that my little students always enjoyed were the little chicks.  It takes two yellow cotton balls.  You can get these at a drug store.  The children just glue one atop another.  Then they attach two blue eyes that you just use a hole punch to make from construction paper.  The beak is just made from orange const. paper.  Like a kite shape folded in half.  Next I would buy an orange feather duster from the dollar store and just clip off small pieces off the tips of the feathers.  Maybe half an inch long.  the children would attach these between the eyes, pointing upward.  I would have egg cartons cut into sections and then the children would glue the little chicks into the egg cups, which had a few pieces of Easter grass in them.  Very cute and simple and cheap for teachers.

when i was in kindergarten we made bunnies out of coffee cans and cotton-tail and stuff, paper-ears, eyes-the little googly ones that spin around, and then we put candy inside. and for the outside u can  either paint it white or wrap it with white construction paper. thats always fun to make,at least i thought so

Boil the eggs and then kids can draw on them, put stickers and stuff. Make sure that teachers and adults are present for overlooking the whole activity.

When i went to school, in kindergarden We made our own easter baskets, and filled grass in it, and we made 1 colored egg with our name on it, and placed them on our desks, when We went out for recess the eadter bunny came in and filled our baskets up with candy, when we came in from recess, We were soo excited to see the Easter bunny was here, all you need is 1 boiled Egg, Construction paper, and crayons to decorate their baskets, and show them how to lay the grass in the baskets,
