The match between Eastern Province Under-15s and Easterns Under-15s was dominated by Eastern Province bowlers, who gave a phenomenal performance by bowling-out their rivals on a confidence shattering total as the whole side crumbled on 82 in 32.5 overs, failing to play till the 50th over of their innings, at Northwood Boys High School, Durban, losing the match by nine wickets with 234 deliveries still remaining.

The tail-enders were wiped-out before they could score in double figures; nonetheless, V Govenden remained the second highest scoring batsman from his side with a knock of 24 runs.
