Eastern Province won their CSA Provincial One-Day Competition fixture against KwaZulu-Natal Inland by six wickets at St George's Park, Port Elizabeth.

TM Lortan and R Pretorious scored 30 and 29 runs as their side managed to post 160 in 45.3 overs.
Requiring 161 to win in 50 overs, Eastern Province forged an opening stand of 19 before losing their first wicket.
Then with 26 on the board, CN Ackermann became the second wicket to fall from his side. The batsman was given leg before wicket on five runs.
