Snyman and D Posthumus, however, prevented the fielding side from wreaking havoc as the two batsmen (with Snyman doing most of the beating) took the score to 239 before this partnership ended when Posthumus hit http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Thomas-George-Burrows-c93472he showers after scoring 17 runs off 60 deliveries.
While Snyman still looked strong, T Zweni contributed 14 runs before getting his stumps pulverised by Faasen.
Later, Faasen hit jackpot when he dismissed Snyman, who fell after bolstering an amazing knock of 146 which included 14 boundaries and five sixes.
Skipper, VP http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Moore-c77694, then hammered an important knock of 60 runs, as he stayed unbeaten to see his side post a nerve wreaking total on the board.
Northerns Under-19s had a disappointing star as they lost two quick wickets with only eight on the board. However, they ended the day after reaching 26 runs.
