Eastlake likely to prevail in Ladbrokes At The Cross, Worcester Novices´ Chase
Eastlake is tipped to win the Ladbrokes At The Cross, Worcester Novices´ Chase at Worcester in England on Sunday, June 10, 2012. A cash prize of £2,924 will be awarded to the winner of the class-4 event.
The going will be good and the stamina of all runners will be put to a test in the race, which will start at 15:00 GMT, as the overall distance to cover is 2 miles and 4 furlongs. Following entries have been confirmed for action: Indian Daudaie, Eastlake,
Zipit, Top Green and Red Not Blue.
Out of the above mentioned runners, there is a doubt over the participation of Red Not Blue, who could have made a solid impression today. He has a decent record, but this would have been his first ever chase outing.
Although there are some very good runners taking part in the race, the best chances of victory seem to be with Eastlake, who has got a terrific record is also carrying pretty decent momentum at the moment.
The six-year-old gelding has participated in a couple of chase races overall, winning both of them. Overall, he has taken part in nine events, winning five times and finishing runner up once. This goes onto show that he is a quality performer and will
definitely cause a lot of problems for his opponents.
Importantly, the Jonjo O'Neill’s trainee is in good form right now, as he was victorious in his previous two races. He was rated as favourite on both occasions and lived up to the expectations of everyone.
Eastlake will be partnered by A. P. McCoy, who is a seasoned runner and has enjoyed plenty of success in chase events. He has managed to win 275 of them his recent form also suggests that he will be a force to reckon at Worcester today.
However, Indian Daudaie might spoil the party for the race favourite, as he is also in pretty decent form. His stamina is quite good, which will help him attract some bets from the punters.
The five-year-old gelding has taken part in four chase events, winning one of them whereas finished runner up on the same number of times. He will definitely cause a few problems for Eastlake.
