I wanna know who favorite Nascar drivers y'all like and why.. Don't worry, I don't have a favorite. Anyone who can persuade me for they're favorite driver gets my best answer, and I'll root for that driver throughout the season.

  1. kyle busch rules jr stink out of this world!

  2. Dla Earnhardt Jr.

i could say a million and 1 things about how much i like him as a driver and how good he is but i wont. because he doesnt need an explanation. just watch some nascar races. he has come such a long way from following in his dads footsteps to creating his own. he isnt hot headed and takes most of the blame for himself. have you seen the point standings? he wasnt even in the top 10 last year and look where he is now. if you ask me Dale Jr. is better than all the drivers out there just for his personality and driving skills. his dad is the legend and yes, granted some people only like him for his dad. but if your on of those people you must be a band wagon fan.

  3. Jeff Gordon ...4-time champion!!!

  4. Danica Patrick is not a nascar driver.

I root for Jimmie Johnson-cool guy and always seems to come back from adversity. I was sooooo excited when he finally won his first championship two years ago.

  5. Kyle Busch

because, he shoots his mouth of like a southern boy-red neck would. He drives with attitude. He reminds me of Darrell Waltrip (D-W for short) in the classic races i have seen,

Ive liked the kid since i started watching NASCAR a few yrs back. I liked his stile. Now that he is not under HMS (im not knocking) he can get out, and get up front and not let the "Two Other Guys" get the win.

  6. Kyle Busch because his "DAD" had nothing to do with how well he can drive a race car. Neither does how HUMBLE or DOWN TO EARTH (stupid) he is. ITs His skills alone. Hes got more talent than almost anybody else in NASCAR and he doesnt have to thank HIS DAD for his fans. He earns them all by how good he drives and not bc of his last name. Thats right JR fans. I mean LAST NAME fans

  7. kyle busch. i love the answers given above as most of them ring pretty much true. he is the living embodiment of the phrase "it ain't arrogance if you got the talent to back it up." he has been incredibly consistent in talking the talk (including the "trash talk"), then walking the walk to prove he could back it up.

i began liking him because of his brother. kurt was my first "favorite driver" - the "hometown boy" for me when i lived in vegas and really began my nascar fandom.  i loved his driving style, his "in your face" attitude, his comments to reporters about other drivers (especially calling jimmy spencer a "has been, a never was, and a never will be"). and that he won me a lot of money in 2003 and 2004 on his way to becoming a champion didn't hurt.

but when i heard his quote "If you think I'm a great driver, just wait till my little brother comes along," i knew i couldn't wait. and i didn't have to wait long, and then along came kyle. while kurt was "in transition" from his winning ways with roush to his current malaise at penske, he was also losing his "edge" - particularly his "i'm better than you and i'm not ashamed of it" attitude. but where he dropped the attitude, kyle picked it up and drove the wheels off it - both on and off the track.

bottom line, kyle has never let me down. in nearly everything he has done on and off the track, i have been impressed. maybe he didn't always do or say the "right thing," but he never backed down from a challenge, either from another driver, a reporter, or the fans. no one intimidated him (except tony stewart for a brief moment) and no one, to me, has more natural driving talent or a better understanding of how to setup, adjust, and drive a race car. and how he has handled himself this year - with all the success, the controversy, the booing, and now the "shock and awe" factor inherent in how good a season he is having this year - has made me like him all the more.

  9. Matt Kenseth because he grew up about 20 miles away from me.

  10. Hysterical.....the Kyle Busch fans are coming out of the woodwork now!

Jimmie Johnson.....Two time defending champion going for 3 in a row. Only one of two drivers who have made it into the chase every year since the chase has started. Drives hard when he needs to, consistent when he doesn't, and is smart enough to know the difference. Gives credit where credit is due, and doesn't blame anybody else for his mistakes. He also has the Jimmie Johnson Foundation and is very charitable.

  11. Kyle Busch because hes better than you and he knows it

  12. Sterling Marlin.  America owes him big time.

  13. it's Gordon not Gordan

  14. dale earndhart jr. kuz he lost hos dad, and kuz hes still a great driver

  15. Dale Earnhardt Jr. Because he's so relatable and so nice. He's a great person and is a great driver!

  16. Dale Jr... I love Jr cause I think he is a great, smart, clean driver. He's also very humble and down to earth just a good ol' country boy. He like many other drivers does alot of charity stuff!! He loves racing and the history of racing. He is respectable on and off the track. and he never gives up even when things aren't going very well for him he also earned alot of respect (more respect) from me when he had the courage to leave his dad's company to do what was best for him as a driver and a man!

  17. Jeff Gordan.

Because he is a great driver and because if someone doesnt like him he respects their decision because thats their opinion and theres nothing he can do about it. He is a good person unlike some of the other drivers. Not saying any names but here where I live there was a charity thing for my friends church and like 15 drivers were there and Jeff Gordan was over there working hard and SOMEONE else was sittin under a tree drinking lemonaid the whole time. Not saying who. But Jeff Gordan is a good person driver and he respects people and their decisions. :)

  18. Tony Stewart! He Is a faithful Chevy driver! He is leaving Joe Gibbs Racing (JGR) for his own racing team that he will own 50% of. he is leaving JGR because they are making him drive a whimpy Toyota and he wants to drive a chevy. When he is behind the wheel of a bow tie he is incredible. I will miss the number 20 and Home Depot sponsors but he will still be insane. You should have seen the races last season that ended up being a huge battle between him and jeff gordon for the last 20 laps....INSANLY INTENSE!

  19. Danica Patrick... cuz hot women driving fast turns me on

  20. Dale Jr. because he will blame nobody but himself, second in points, and just a rocket waiting to explode into space.

    if not

Jeff Burton.. hes the boss, I would vote for him as president. Gentleman, and everybody will be okay  with you as a JB fan.

  21. I have to agree with what #18 Fan [Rowdy's World} said.  I was a Dale Jarrett fan for years...my other half was a Rusty Wallace fan...when Rusty retired he was replaced with Kurt Busch..and then Kurt got Rusty's old ride!  When I heard Jarrett was going to retire...I started watching the other drivers more carefully...I too liked Kurt's comment about Kyle...so now the two of us scream for the Busch "boys" as they race around the track!  And Kyle does it because he loves racin!!!!

  22. One Driver = Raw Talent

Martin Truex Jr and the #1 Bass Pro Shop Chevy

Best Driver out there. Very Respectable.

    Good Choice for anyone.

  23. I started following NASCAR about 5 years ago.  I watched for the first year and started rooting for Jr. the second. I never heard him blame others when he crashed or when bumped a little hard near the finish.(ala Stewart). I guess it was his personality and the way he inteviewed.

  24. tony stewart he tells it how it is and he is very caring

  25. My favorite driver is Tony Stewart. I like him for a lot of reasons. First of all he is a great driver. He has 32 wins and 2 championships.(SO FAR) Also I like how he is not afraid to speak his mind, no matter what. Finally he gives A LOT of money to charities.

  26. Exactly what Rockin Race 29 said.

Especialy about the part of how he treats his fans. I was just at Kevin Harvick Inc 2 days ago to purchase his All star Race Penzoil Platinum Diecast. And before I purchased it, the lady at the counter took out 3 of them, and asked me which one I wanted. She wanted me to look at the autograph that Kevin signed on the car to see which one I liked best. Its just the little things like that that make me really respect him and his company, and what he stands for.

He says what he means, he doesnt hold back, even if he is going to get some slack for it.  For the most part, when he messes up, he takes full blame for it.

What he has done with his truck team is truly amazing. He has 2 drivers in the top ten, one of them being the first place driver. His Nationwide car is not as successful this year but he still gives it his all with both teams equally.

He is proud of his sponsors, proud of his company, wife, and fans.

  27. dale jr

and my email is on chickenhead

  28. Clint Bowyer!!! He's a nice, down-to-Earth guy and he's a real racer and not swayed by the media. He's one of the very few guys that will remain in the sport past age 40!

  29. Dale Jr, he is a very clean driver, honest, humble and he loves his fans, face it how many Nascar drivers actually have their own nation, its called "JR Nation" he has talent, he is finally in great equipment, face it, it took a lot of balls to leave his daddy's team, and go to Hendrick Motor Sports, so he can win races and have a chance to win a Championship. Yes, he has a lot of haters and bashers on here, they are just jealous of all the attention he gets.. He is 2nd in the points right now, another win or two and being consistent, he could do it this yr.. Come on over to Jr Nation. I know Dale Jr, he is a all round great southern guy, who just happens to be a great race car driver.

    Go Dale Jr & Hms

  30. BobbY labonte because i thank he is so cute and i like his car that he drives
