the socks cover the whole ipod. You cannot see the menu or the keys when ur ipods inside the sock. To answer ur question no u wont be able to chose songs unless u remove it from the ipod :)

i can't really tell, but i'm pretty sure they were made to fit the old ones. and you won't be able to choose songs and stuff unless you do it through the sock. i can't really tell through the picture but that's your best bet.
