  1. I use my rabbits bedding as his litter because he likes it better. That other stuff is too hard. So, yes, I would actually recommend using bedding as your Little Guy's litter.

  2. either could work but carefresh is better because it wont get between there toes and in there paws. its like walking on the beachi n bare feet and its kinda uncomfertable between toes lol. also carefresh holds smells better.

  3. Out of the two i would use carefresh...

Cat litter is posions to rabbits.

  4. Carefresh is  a type of litter. What are you asking?

Are you asking if you can use CAT litter for a rabbit? Then the answer is  a big NO.If the rabbit accidentally ingests the cat litter is could be a big problem for you and your rabbit. The clay cat litter will block his intestine and cause stasis and possible death.

If your asking about other forms of litter

-like Aspen shavings or pine -well then Aspen is the only safe one.read this taken from the ASPCA:

    The Litter

First a suitable litter is needed. You rabbit will probably like to lay in the litter box and may even nibble on the litter, so something absorbent and safe is necessary. Rabbit urine also has a strong odor, so something that absorbs odor is ideal. Do not use clay or clumping litters, or cedar or pine wood shavings. Organic or paper-based pellets and litters are a good choice (brands include Critter Country, Eco-Straw Pellets, Gentle Touch, Cell-Sorb Plus and Yesterday's News - see Top Alternatives to Cedar and Pine Shavings for more options) Some owners simply use rabbit pellets as litter. These are economical and safe, but are not a good choice if your rabbit continually eats extra pellets from the litter box and/or is overweight

  5. I would use pine shavings for bedding since it doesn't get caught in the fur (exceptions are angoras and jersey woolies), it has a fresh smell, absorbs the smell, is really cheap, and it doesn't hurt the rabbit if it eats it.  Good luck.

  6. carefresh bedding the rabbits love it and they are a lot more comfortable in it!

  7. If you must have a solid bottom cage, go with Carefresh. It is very absorbant and non toxic.

  8. any

  9. What ever you want to Carefresh is quite dear, but is really good, but you can use wood pulp litter(its okay if the bunny eats it) Big chip shavings, Shredder newspaper(repels mites, but can stain the coat) and there are loads f other litters and beddings on the market. In the RABBITLOPIDIA  book i read the author used Grass turfing as bedding/litter!!!!!!!!!

    Hope this helps!!

  10. bedding they like it alot more

  11. carefresh bedding

  12. U Can use both

  13. carefresh, most of my rabbits got confused and went somewhere else to the bathroom when i used litter

  14. carefresh beddeng

  15. 'Bedding' and 'litter' are a synonym. They mean the same thing.

What is "litter"? Do you mean cat litter? Or rabbit litter? In any case, it really does not matter.

For the entire cage, anything at all can be used. It does not matter, as long as it is safe. Pine and cedar are toxic, and are the only things to stay away from. Some types of cat/rabbit litters are also dangerous. Only use those that are organic and digestable. Rabbits will eat some of it because they use their mouths to 'explore', so you want to keep away with anything potentially toxic.

Carefresh is a lot better since it has very little to no chemicals, and since rabbits will nibble on it, is very safe.

Or if you are talking about the litter box, again it does not matter. A lot of people will say to have the litter box litter different from the regular cage litter, but from my own experience, this is not at all necessary. It might be a little easier for you to train the rabbit however, so you can use carefresh in the cage, and safe rabbit litter in the box.

  16. put litter down and carefresh bedding over it! hope it helps!
