  1. Pt. 1. I have no idea what you are on about here but whatever it is, surface water will only tend to find its lowest elevation, which means it will flow off the land. If, as you mention in your particular case, the continental margin is uplifted, then the water will flow inland, as happens with all the river systems of inland Australia, which end up in Lake Eyre, itself a geological feature that is physically lower than sea level.

    2) Oppositional currents. (Not a very impressive question.)

3.) Both the sun and the moon exerting their gravity tug on earth from the same direction create the seasonal tides, usually around Christmas time. Generally known as King tides.

4.) along the subduction edge, we will most certainly expect to experience earthquakes with all the slippage of rock masses that has to be occurring. The leading edge of the subducted zone will melt due to temperature and pressure which can then be squeezed up to form volcanoes. Guyots are only submarine volcanoes but it is the land based eruptions that are more common, e.g. Mount St. Helens, Washington.

False. Salty water cannot be frozen.  When the sea does freeze over, it is formed of pure water ice, the salt is excluded.

  2. flows away from the land

    the moon

    earthquakes and guyots

    false
