Easy 10 points in digital cameras?

could i use any digital camera usb cord thing for uploading on to the computer. btw my camera is a Canon camera if that helps

  1. no you cant.. some usb cords are either to small or too big for the camera


  2. If you are uploading digital pictures from a still camera or even a camcorder with picture taking capabilities, use a USB cable. This is the only way. If you are uploading video footage from a camcorder, use a fire-wire. You can purchase one of these at a local electronics store and this is the only way to upload video from a camcorder. However, note that if you are uploading small video clips from your still camera with video clip taking capabilities, you must sill use a USB cable.

  3. Absolutely, that's what it's for.  As long as they are the same connection (most likely mini-USB)

  4. that should work fine.

    i'll assume it's mini usb on the cam end and standard usb 2.0 on the other.

    the cam should look like a drive on your PC. drag and drop the files to a folder on the desktop and you should be set!
