  1. sure...both are primary colors........but how "well" they would go together depends on the tone of the colors.  I would go with a greyish blue paint.......more on the "cooler" color pallete and then go with a deeper red with the couch......then you can add an accent color.....like a nice chocolate brown.

  2. you could do a gray-blue/ slate color. not so patriotic looking...more sophisticated.

  3. Paint the walls a neutral Khaki color with crisp white trim on the doors, molding, ceiling and window trim...continue the neutral w/primary color scheme with lots of khaki & white and add accent splashes of red & blue in the rest of the room...

  4. No-that doesn't sound like it would look good. What color blue? Light or dark and what hue of red?

  5. NO! NO! NO! I mean, I wish red would match blue, otherwise I would SO have a red shelf up in my bedroom, but it just doesn't work. Sorry. Try yellow... it's daring but if the yellow isn't too yellow and the blue isn't too blue, it'll totally work out.

  6. umm sounds a little patriotic to me... if you are looking for a color to go with red ask someone at the paint place they will be able to give you really good advice!

  7. too much contrast. have light blue pillows with a neutral paint, tan maybe on the walls.

  8. That sounds very patriotic.  A bedroom should typically be calming and serene.  I'm not sure if a red couch would be my first choice for a bedroom.  I would try a neutral color couch with some color punch via a throw pillow.

  9. In my opinion, yes it would match. Besides, since your talking about pillows, you could easily switch up the look later if you decide it doesn't look right.
