Easy CD 5 that I

Question

Easy CD 5 that I installed to view Sony Mavica camera images seems to have made my CD/DVD drive inaccessible. Windows XP tells me that CD Recording Software will cause Windows to become unstable and so prevented the devices from loading. This despite my thorough uninstall of the initially offensive program. How can I make my drive work again?
