  1.   Did she say how dialated or effaced you are?  In my first pregnancy my baby dropped tremendously at 32 weeks.  When I went to get induced at 38 weeks I was already 3cm 80% effaced and at +2 station, so that ment I was already past the first part of labor.  So I dialated to 10 cm within 5 hours and pushed my baby out in 15 minutes.  Keep walking, do squats (they help lower the baby and help your v****a muscles) and just stay active.

  2. My sons were both born at 34 weeks.  I had my sons in 4 hours..No kidding.  It was so fast it was almost scary.  That's great news for you.  Good luck!

  3. As we recently had our new baby boy, there were a couple of things that we were told repeatedly, and maybe it can help you too.

1.) Walking. Getting exercise is the one thing that everyone, including the doctor recommends. Try going for a walk around the neighborhood or park.

2.) Not to be crude, bu having s*x will also help expedite the dilation of the cervix. I don't know if it is true, but I heard that it is similar to the chemicals they use to induce labor at the hospital.

Don't listen to anyone who tells you to drink castor oil. It will only make you sick, and I have found several resources that prove that it doesn't help anyway.

    Hope I helped.
