  1. So you want to lern some moves so you can go out and impress your friends huh? What are you going to do when somebody decides to call you on it and wants to fight to see how good you are? It will happen, and you are going to be using stuff that is totaly worthless.

I suspect many of the stories of black belts getting beat up is because of just this thing. Anyone can claim to be a black belt, and do things that "look" cool to the un educated, but when push comes to shove they can't defend themselves for c***, and beleive me someone will test you.

If you do not study under a qualified instructor what you train will be useless when this happens.

  2. rear naked choke, guillotine choke, armbar from mount, armbar from guard, americana, kimura, triangle choke, arm triangle, knee bar, heel hook, straight ankle lock,  to name a few.

  3. Hehe.. Well, to each their own!

Don't worry.. I did this when I was younger.  You're not alone.

If there's a Chinatown near by, check out their bookstore.  I used to be able to find step-by-step instructions on how to do Wushu forms.  Looked cool to me!  But I'm sure I was doing them improperly..  You can also buy books with similar teachings.  You also never know, maybe they'll inspire you to take on some professional training.

Have fun and good luck!  Be sure to stretch so you don't hurt yourself..  Heck, be sure not to hurt yourself period.  =D

  4. I'm sure you can find several of these moves on Youtube, but I personally think these moves look more martial arts and not just fooling around:

+ side kick (looks good & lot of power too)

    + side strike

    + palm fist

And don't forget  blocking moves: high block, muscle block, low block (making sure your other closed fist is not just flailing about with no purpose but held to the waist, fingers & palm up)

    1) To make those moves look impressive you have got to stretch and improve your FLEXIBILITY for height in kicks.  People are impressed with high kicks even if the kick doesn't have a lot of power.

    2) Excellent BALANCE can make an imperfect move still look tight because you're more controlled.  Perfect form means nothing if you are wobbling all over the place.

    3) Make sure your moves are fast and SHARP and just about anything you do looks cool.

This advice is for performing moves for fun or to look "kwl" - just like you asked - but if you find you really enjoy doing this and want to perfect the techniques, check out a martial arts class near you. :-)

  5. first time: stretching

2nd: abdominal, arm and leg muscles training

3rd: mavashi geri, ma geri, ura mawashi geri... theese for legs

4th: zu ki, ura gen, tesho, and other.....

theese moves are own of Karate, consinst in kicks and many way of pounch

  6. a "head and arm" just youtube it. it makes you look like your a bad *** lol....

  7. crescent kick, thrust kick, jab, straight punch, hook, tornado kick, hook kick, round house kick, hammer fist, side kick.

those are pretty easy just look em up on youtube or watever

  8. Those aren't VERY easy moves. Try a round/jab kick.

For punches, try jabs, hooks. For grappling, try a ankle lock or a knee bar. Those are pretty easy for a person who has not done any sort of martial art before. You can search youtube or some other websites on how to deliver these attacks, i believe they do  have videos on that.

  9. I'm afraid you can't learn to do any martial arts moves at home.

All you get, by doing so, is a distorted and retarded version of those moves that don't work.
