I reinstalled Danish WinXp Home with English Win XPPro sp2 and installed ALL the device drivers from the Packard Bell support site for this model.After flashing the bios ver1.5 the DVD player only plays CD's. I have Win Media Player, VLC, Alcohol 120% installed to name a few DVD players and the system settings show the DVD player by the same name the BIOS shows.Whenever a DVD is inserted into the drive bay it makes a lot of noise and the software just hangs up or shows a totally empty drive.Do I need to edit the Registry? Or do I need to reflash the bios to the old version? How do I download the old BIOS?I pray this site has intelligent help with psychic ability when needed.Blessings,Chetanji
