Easy Paper Mache Ideas?

What are some easy things to make out of paper mache. Working with kids ages 9-7

blow up a ballon and have them paper mache it, then put on streemers and make it into a piniata! or w/e ! ( i dont know if i spelt that right sorry! 7-9 year olds are pretty smart, instead of putting on streamers, you could glue on little cut up streamers and make it into a fish or something. or just let them decorate it with pretty colors! i remember i loved that when i was a kid about that age! simple things make the greatest fun!
