The Common Cold..

More specifically, I'm looking into the Rhinovirus Infection.

What larger problems can it lead to?

What part of the body(specifically) does it affect?

Is it treatable?

I'm pretty sure they've never found a cure for the cold so does anyone have any info on the current research on finding the cure.

Thank you!!

  1. You should be able to find those answers in detail at webmd.

I am not aware of any current research into a cure for the common cold. It's not a significant public health concern. Also, there are dozens of different rhinoviruses, which is why you can get the cold many times in your life. Viruses are particularly tough to beat with medicine. If a researcher is looking for cures for viruses, they will be focusing on viruses with higher death rates like influenza and HIV.
