Easy Television Opinion Question?

i recently bought a lcd tv. i dont have hd programming so my tv doesnt look anything amazing. i use a ps3 and xbox 360 on it. my uncle was going to give me an old zenieth tv. since i dont have hd programing should i return the tv and get the one from my uncle. thanks

Why not get HD programming? Off-the-air is free. You only need an antenna.

Go to antennaweb.org for help and to see what Digital channels are available in your area.

You can also use the PS3 to watch BD movies.

I say keep it. You may not be able to connect your PS3 on the old Zenith.

Depends on the size of the set your uncle is giving you, the age, and the size of your LCD monitor. If the set your uncle is giving you a 32" inches or larger and on the back it has those (green, red, blue) component jacks in addition to the AV (yellow) jacks, you should get it.  The component cable will offer you the best reception to your game console even though on a old standard television it will only do 480i and not progressive, unless its an EDTV.
