Question:

Easy Vegetarian Meals?

I need some super easy recipes, because I live in a smaller town that doesn't offer tofu, soymilk or any "meat". This makes it difficult to reach how much protein I need in a day, so a bunch of protein filled meals would be great!

  1. you can get protien from beens and nuts.

  2. There is no soymilk or plant milk where you live at all?

For protien you can make rice and beans, or quiona and beans or couscous and beans. Have some nuts as a snack. Peanut butter sandwhiches. Pita bread with falafel, avocados, & hummus. Chili made with black beans, kidney beans, corn, green beans, chili sauce, taco seasoning, tomatoes, green peppers & onions. Cook and fry a large portobello mushroom or eggplant and make a burger with the fixings. Stir fry and season rice/couscous/quiona, beans, and vegetables. Make a bean, rice, and vegetable burrito, taco, or quesadilla. Pastas, cooked seasoned potatoes (scalloped, mashed, fried, baked, etc), breaed or stuffed mushrooms, etc.

  3. Check out www.healthy-eating.com to order some fake meats and other vegetarian foods

  4. Check your supermarket for the Morning Star brands. They carry all vegetarian soy meats. They come in a green box in the frozen section. They might have it at your grocery store! Also, eat a lot of different nuts! Look at the Food Guide Pyramid and what other vegetarian things are in the meats category! I hope this helped!
