Easy but elegant desserts?

i dont have a lot of time cause this was last minute but any ideas would help~~~

Jellyrolls look beautiful, sliced on a platter, and are very easy to make.  You could make several in different flavors:  White w/whipped cream & sliced strawberries and chocolate w/whipped cream & fresh raspberries - or whatever combinations you like.  Alternate the sliced jellyrolls and garnish with fresh mint leaves on the platter, with some of the fruit.....OR ... Cream puffs are one of the very easiest things to make too.  You can fill them with vanilla or chocolate pudding and plate with chocolate syrup & whipped cream.  Or stack them into a pyramid and drizzle the syrup down the entire stack....

Trifle - it's the quickest and easiest dessert to make.  Here's the recipe for one....there are hundreds of different ways to make it.

Raspberry Chocolate Trifle is a creamy dessert made with raspberries and raspberry preserves.

Prep Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

1 package (3.9 oz) instant chocolate pudding mix

2 cups cold milk

1 frozen pound cake (10-3/4 ounce loaf), thawed

2 C. fresh OR frozen raspberries, thawed

1 C. raspberry preserves

whipped cream or topping

raspberries for garnish

Preparation:

Mix pudding and milk according to package directions. Chill. Cut pound cake into 1 inch cubes. Place half in small trifle bowl. Gently stir together raspberries and preserves. Spoon half of this mixture over cake. Pour half of the pudding over raspberries. Repeat layers. Chill until ready to serve. Garnish trifle with whipped topping and more raspberries.

Mrsdeli's deli's recipe is very close to mine - except I prefer vanilla instant pudding, to the chocolate.

If you want to kick it up a bit, you can drizzle rum over the pound cake.  Go easy on the rum, you don't want it to overpower the other flavors.

If you don't have a trifle dish, use any deep, clear glass bowl.
