  1. You might find it easier if you looked on-line for a chicken coop (note the spelling).

A chicken coup would be something quite different but very worthwhile. It would be an overthrow of the government by chickens - that would be worth paying money to see. It would be what you might call a revolution by fowl means.

  2. they like to roost. so we use plastic milk cartons full of hay. its cheaper to build one than buy one. you need 4 4x4 post chicken wire and some plywood to build the roost .

  3. Why must the chickens revolt against the government in order for you to get some chickens? I didn't know you could by a government revolution on ebay! Wow!

  4. I

    just

    farted!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. build your own :)

Ask your dad/uncle etc to help.

LOL btw i thought this question said chicken soup.

    DUh..blonde moment.

  6. we have lots of chickens.

may i suggest you pop down to your local farm supplies place ( like a Wynnstay or something ) and see them for yourself. You can take pics with your phone and take some measurements.

There are also a million books on keeping chickens, here are the first 4 off the shelf in front of me:

J Barnes - Garden Poultry Keeping

    Batty - Poultry for Beginners

Esher Verhoef - The complete encyclopedia of Chickens

Michael Roberts - Chickens at home

All these have coop plans and you can easliy pick them up from smallholder shops or probably Amazon.

  7. well first the  window where like the bubble comes out in the picture with them walking but you must be careful because of the dogs and the two cages on the field

  8. How much money do you have to spend?

The wood and mesh can be pretty cheap to build if you buy cheap mesh wtc, but with foxes etc you really need to make sure it's strong.  I'd really buy one for your first, so maybe save up?

Or put an ad on your local freecycle for one, or for someone local who has one you could see.

Also, you need to make sure you have some money put aside in case these birds get ill or anything.
