Easy decorations to make?

What are some decorations you can make at home that are cheap? Its for my mums 40th birthday party.

Any links or photos would be great.

Hi!  What a sweet daughter you are.  :-)

Here's a site with a lot of birthday party things you can print out at home, (and assemble when necessary).  Different styles of invitations, favor bags, place cards, party hats, and more....even birthday cards.

Print some of those to decorate with and maybe buy a pack of balloons at the dollar store.

a photo display of her life would be good.  enlarge a cutie photo of her to poster size and surround it with lots of others.  include times when she was single, newlywed, new mom, out with friends, asleep, etc.

Make some large paper flowers.  Make a couple and tie together and make some colored balls to hang from the ceiling.

If you don't want any paper stuff.

Make some beaded rings to add around glasses and make napkin rings.  You could also decorate some large candles with beads.
