  1. mini frozen quiches are easy and non mess. finger sandwiches are cute too. i would also reccoment non alcoholic margaritas or a blueberry smoothies.

  2. I suggest something light since it will be June.  Make a cucumber dip with veggies and peppers to dip.  Light and refreshing.  Maybe lemonade.  A bar cookie and maybe some nuts.

  3. spiced nuts. go to foodnetwork.com for recipe

  4. First, you don't want anything too messy, since the guests will be handling the jewelry!  So, nothing saucy:)

veggie & fruit platters with dip ... roll-up (wrap) sandwiches cut into 2-3" pieces  ...

    HAM BALL

2 (4-1/2 oz) cans deviled ham

3 T. chopped, stuffed green olives

    1 TB. prepared mustard

    tabasco sauce to taste

1 (3 oz) cream cheese, softened

    2 tsp. milk

    parsley

    assorted crackers

Blend ham, olives, mustard and tabasco.  Form into ball on serving dish; chill.  Combine cream cheese & milk; frost ball with this mixture.  Chill.  Remove from refrigerator 15 min. before serving.  Garnish with parsley & serve with crackers.

You could also have a cheese ball and some egg-salad to serve on the crackers....

  5. everyone loves crackers with cheese!

pretzels are a must, they arent very dirty, and most people like them

  6. Well there is two ways to go about it. The first is to serve appetizers:

Brachetta, Deviled Eggs,  Baked Brie, Cheese and there is also the possibility to buy them in the refrigerator section of a food store or from a caterer.

And the second is to serve small deserts that are individually made:

Cupcakes, Cookies, and other small sweets that can be made to look beautiful and sophisticated.

  7. You want appetizers that don't get your fingers dirty.  The time of day will dictate the "heaviness" of the appetizers.  Finger sandwiches are excellent.  I love to use the premade phyllo cups, found in the frozen section.  They are puff pastries that can be filled with sweet or savory fillings.  Try chicken salad in one of the little cups!  Or chocolate mousse topped with a strawberry.  They just make little bowls that dont have to be washed.  If the party is small, fill cocktail glasses with easy to spoon desserts or martini glasses with dips.  A neat way to serve sorbet is to make lemon or orange, and cut oranges in half and use the unbroken half of rind as a bowl.  These can be filled and frozen with the sorbet inside.

Remember, things like shrimp tend to keep people milling about the table, in order to get to the dip.  Make sure the food is mobile.  Pyramid stack cake stands and pile with cookies or sandwiches for a fun table display.  Email if you want more.

  8. Brownies go the best with jewelry.

  9. buffalo wings

    and beer

    (try dialing pizza hut)
