  1. It depends on what kind of factors you want. Prime factors, Unique Prime factors, or just numbers you can divide it by.

    Your answer is either 64 or 60 depending on what you are going for.

    100 has the following prime factors.

    2,2,5, 5 (four factors)

    unique

    2,5 (two)

    or the following divisable numbers

    1,100, 2, 50, 4, 25, 5, 20, 10 (9)

    64 is less than 100

    its prime factors are 2,2,2,2,2,2 (6 the most under 100)

    it only has 1 unique prime factor

    its factors are

    1, 64, 2, 32, 4, 16, 8 (7)

    so it has more prime factors but less unique primes and factors.
