  1. 7

  2. -(-4)+3=y

    4+3=y

    y=7

  3. -x+3=y

    x=-4

    So replace x with -4

    -(-4)+3=y

    Now multiply the negatives. So a negative and a negative = +. So -(-4) = +4 = 4

    Now you have

    4+3=y

    7=y

    y=-1

  4. substitue -4 in for x and you have -4 + 3 = -1  y = -1

  5. the answer is -1 add positive 3 to negative 4 -4+3=-1

  6. y = 7

  7. y= -x=3

    you cant combine anything...

    and x=-y+3

  8. Listen to the people who are saying 7

    Those who say -1 are forgetting that in math, 2 negatives DO make a positive.

    y = -x + 3 or

    y = 3 - x

    y = 3 - (-4)

    y = 3 + 4

    y = 7
