  1. Why not try a french country stew, all goes into one pot, beans one or two different types, chicken, pork, sausages, tomatoes, potatoes, cabbage.  Serve with mustard, horseradish, and a nice cheap red wine.  Relax and enjoy the evening.

  2. Find out if there are any allergies or religion restrictions first. I always find that a casserole of some sort works the best. Less time in the kitchen for you as well. I would serve a salad, lasagna, garlic bread and a dessert. Normally lasagna is a comfort food for a lot of people and I have rarely ran into someone who doesn't like it.

  3. i suggest, since its winter and all,

for an entree some pumpkin soup, you know nice and warm,

then for the main meal have some.. spaghetti or lasagna, nice and warm and saucy. for sweets i would have pudding, again nice and warm and all of these are delicious. trust me, i had some guests over and they LOVED what i cooked.

  4. Hi try chicken Burgers. Always works when friends come Round!

  5. not sure how fancy (or not) ur trying to be, but i found some dinner for 2 recipes on this site
