hi I was just wondering if these addressees labels are only for priority mail?

or if they can be used on any type of shipping at the post office?

  1. They state priority mail on the sticker, I would go with that.  You may be charged the priority mail fee if you attach to a package you don't want shipped priority.  Best bet:  next time you are in the post office, ask to be on the safe side.


  2. Those may only be used on Priority Mail. The white area is also background printed to show that it is a PM USPS label and is subject to PM rates, just in case you have the idea of cutting off the PM part of the label.

    USPS regulations are quite clear that the use of ANY material that is provided at no charge by USPS must only be used for the class of mail shown on the material.

    USPS provides packaging materials, at no charge, for Priority Mail and Express Mail. If you use these materials for any other class of mail, and it is discovered, the item will be marked up Postage Due to the correct rate.

    There is also a Terms of Use statement that displays when you order materials stating that to continue, you must agree to only use the materials as they are intended to be used.
