3.5 dL = 0.035 L since d = deci = 1/10

Thus 35 mL = 3.5 dL

According to the metric system, one liter = 10 deciliters and one liter = 1,000 milliliters. The users above me gave the value of centiliters (cL), not dL; they didn't move the decimal place far enough. Check any conversion site.
