Easy storm door and bedroom window fix?

i have a storm door that is suppoed to have a sliding glass window in the bottom that slides up to open, im sure most everyone has seen these. my problem is that i am missing the sliding glass completly. the door does not have a manufacturer printed on it so i dont know where to go for parts. other then that the door is in great shape, and to buy a whole other replacement door would cost about 200-300 dollars due to its "special" height. does anyone know of a way to fix this? or a way to buy replacement glass? i also have a bedroom window in my home with the same problem, sliding glass is completly gone. and i would love to find a solution to that as well, any help would be greatly appreaciated.

  1. I would just have a storm window made to overlap the window you now have in the storm door. s***w it on the outside and caulk behind it.

As far as your window in the bedroom- Remove the sash that is missing the glass-and take it to a glass shop- they should be able to cut and install either insulated glass or regular glass, whichever you have.

  2. if you still have the frame you con get glass or plexi glass cut to fit. if not home depo or lowes can order the frame with the measurements
