Easy to BREAK canopy clips

Question

The clips to hold the canopys on my zooper tango and twist snap off way too easily. My child would pull down the canopy, then lean heavily to the outer side, and SNAP!!! off it goes. My warranty is over now, this is the 2007 model, and the store where I bought it, TJ's Kiddie store in Surrey, B.C. Canada told me that it would cost me $50.00 per clip plus service. WUTT!!!!
