Got one as a gift and not sure about how to care for it.

I really love it and want to keep it healthy as long as possible. Anyone else have one? It's completely bloomed. What's next? how long before the flowers die? All info appreciated. ty.

  1. This is all I could really find. I hope it helps. :)

  2. I have had really good luck with the phaleanopsis orchid (moth orchid) it requires very little care.  High humidity and average light and temps.  Google orchid site to find out what type you have..

    That may help.

One of mine has rebloomed 3 years in a row.

  3. I keep mine in a warm, moderately lit area...I have set the pot in a dish filled with 1 inch rock with a little water in it to provide some humidiity. Be sure that the pot is not sitting in water itself. don't worry about bloom time just experience it. If it is blooming you must be doing something right.

  4. orchids do not need any care at all. except light. if light is not enough they will never flower

  5. Different care and growing conditions for different types.

See source for information on growing popular orchids in your home.

  6. <> Sorry Rosie....I had a orchid plant my brother gave me for mothers day 2007 and it lived about 6 months>>> They are so beautiful but I cant grow them > check out the site for English Gardens and maybe they can tell you how to grow this very delicate flower.

    >< Hope you have better luck than I did> Good Luck
