Easy way to find rental listings for a large geographic area

im looking to move, but i don't have any particular place in mind, just a general area of the country. is there any where on the web that offers rental listings for entire states or multiple states?

YOu really have to go in person.  The rental market changes every day. The websites are always behind.  Try Craigslist.org but that is only for larger cities. /

Yes, check your MLS listings and select rentals not sales.
