Easy way to put contacts on? PLZ HELP IM DESPERATE?

i just got them today, and the lady didnt even help me put them on, it took me literally 1 hour to put one on, and my mom was no help eather, she kept saying ur ripping ur eye out, just stick to glasses, is the any easy way to put them on? plz tell my i will love u forever, im really desperate right now and really it takes me 1 hour to put them on, and i keep blinking, any tips?

Wow.. I was in 8th grade when I first got contacts... my eye doctor wouldn;t let me leave until I was able to get them in without his help. When I first started it took me a long time.. I have been doing it every morning for like 8 years now.. lol

What you do is you pinch the contact to take is out of the case with the main hand, you then take teh contact, lay it on the main hand's pointer finger so the contact looks like a bowl. This is how I do it.. I am right handed, after I have it on my pointer finger, ( I always do my left eye first for some reason) I take my left hand and pull down the bottom part of my left eye, and then insert the contact, and then blink to make sure it is in securely. When I do my right eye, I take my left hand and pull up my right lid and insert it that way. Hope it helps.. and good luck!

I was like that too at first. I was scared to put it in and especially take it out, which took forever for me. Just make sure that the contact is really moist and wet and put it on your fingertip, then (my eye doctor told me to look at it as I'm putting it in) but I just put the contacts in. It'll at first feel uncomfortable or feel like somethings in your eye, but just close your eyes for a few seconds until it feels better. Let them adjust in your eyes.
