Question:

Easy way to steam video over wireless network??

I have tons of video files I want to steam for my mother over the wireless network. So I'm looking for an easy to use program that she will be able to use. Shes fairly elderly and doesn't pick up on new programs very easily. So I'm looking for something easy to use. Like a program she can open and just see a handful of videos, browse thru them and pick the one she wants to watch. Again, the program has to be easy to use for her. Ill do all the setting up, but the "finding" and "playing" must be easy on her end.

I'll take any and all suggestions.

Also, just for fyi, I tried VLC but I wasn't really able to get her to use it. It made her head explode lol

thank you all ahead of time.

  1. If there are on different computers, on the same network all you need to do is make the files you want her to have public.  Right-click the folder, copy them to the public drive (to find it easy).

Right-click the folder, and under the sharing tab, set the folder to share.

Now the contents can be shared in the network.

If you have any more problems, please post back.
