  1. My friend did it a couple of years ago. She loved it. As long as you're not expecting a fancy room or fancy restaurants then you'll be ok. Rooms were basic but comfortable.

    She recommended it.

  2. No. But I did watch a TV series about it. it looks fun.

But isn't as fancy like the major cruise companys.

use this link. its a huge website devoted to all things crusing with message boards and fourms and stuff. its very nice.

  3. It's very "bare bones" - no casinos, shows, shops, fancy food, etc.  It's a bed and not much more.  The advantage is that it's very inexpensive and you get to stay in ports for much longer than on regular cruises.  The ships are very small.

There is feedback from past cruisers on EasyCruise at CruiseCritic.com.  Click on "Boards", then "EasyCruise".  You can ask any specific questions there, too, although that board isn't as active as some of the others at CC - they just don't have the passenger volume.

  4. It's cool!

  5. Like all the "easy" stuff,It will be c**p !   Who in there tiny mind would want to spend time on an orange boat with pissed welsh gits, mainly as they are all bloody skint !

    Dont do it !

  6. Generally, in cruising, the cost really does reflect all aspects of life on board.

Don't expect the luxury you would find on Cunard or P & O - the cabins are minimalistic with not a lot of storage, so don't take loads of clothes, etc.

Cuisine/dining - On EasyCruise 1, the dining room, has open seating and is described in "Ocean Cruising & Cruise Ships" by Douglas Ward, as "small and elegant.  It is on the lowest deck and has portholes not windows.  Sit where you like, when you like"

Cabin current is 110 volts, there is a casino, slot machines and an outdoor swimming pool, plus a whirlpool.

You might like to try and get the Douglas Ward book from your local library to read up on cruising and the cruise ships - good bedtime book.  He is rated as being "The world's foremost authority on cruising"

Enjoy your holiday - cruising is a lot of fun.
