Eatable wild plants in wisconson?

I live in an area of Milwaukee county where I have woods in my back yard, is there a way that I can find what plant are growing there that are eatable?

You can go to your local bookstore and purchase a book with pictures of edible plants and poisonous plants.  Then you can physically carry the book with you and compare the plants.  The Internet is great and so is the memory, but your best bet in this instance is a book that you can take with you.  Unless you want to spend a hundred bucks in ink and paper and print up your own book then buy a binder to put the pics in.  Cheaper to spend 25 bucks on a book.  This way you do not end up with a rash or dead by picking or eating the wrong plants.  

    And borrowing one from the library is not a good idea as you may soil it and end up purchasing it for a greater price or think you remember something being edible from when you had it in your possession and eat the wrong thing.
