  1. Now I have to check it out because i have never heard about this before

  2. It should be safe, in my country there are measures in place to ensure food we consume are safe.

Bean Sprout is a common in Asia Dishes. We add bean sprout to soupy noodles, we have stir-fry bean sprout when done nicely, is crunchy and nice, bean sprout fried rice, bean sprout used in Tofu Goreng, salad etc ...

There is another type of bean sprout, Soy Bean Sprout, it is bigger in size than the normal bean sprout.  It is commonly consume in Korea, there is a Soy Bean Sprout Salad dish and there is Soy Bean Sprout Soup.  Soy bean sprout can be used to make vegetable stock.  Soy bean sprout should be more nutritious, as it is from soy bean (the only complete plant based protein).

You can grow your own bean sprout, that is 100% safe.

  3. I eat bean sprouts in sandwiches and I've never been poisoned by them or anything. I think you'll be fine eating a lot of it, since my mum eats TONS of them and she's never had any health problems (well not from bean sprouts or poison)
