  1. Eating lots of sugar puts your body under great stress and drinking sugar free energy drinks all will contribute to your high production of cortisol and making all the cells in your body "insulin resistant."  The first step to diabetes type II is hypoglycemia.

If you get your calories from sugar, that is a carbohydrate and this will cause a hormone called leptin that is produced in your adipose tissue (fat tissue) to misuse insulin and glucagon in your body.  26% of ALL Americans now have diabetes or pre-diabetes and that number is growing day by day.  It is a disease of sugar management.  Sugar was introduced about 400 years ago and in the last 100 years, refined sugar was introduced.

To answer your own question, look at the use of sugar and the increase in diabetes.  In the early 1900's, the average sugar consumption by a person in the U.S. was about 10 pounds maximum and that was considered an excess for the human body to deal with.  At present, the average American consumes over 200 pounds of sugar each year.  Those so called "diet" drinks are even worse because they elicit an insulin spike with no sugar to oxidize and cause more insulin resistance in each cell of your body.

Additionally, cortisol is produced and requires the precursor pregnenalone to make it.  Unfortunately, pregnenalone is in short supply, so when it goes to making cortisol, the liver reprioritizes and stops making the steroid hormones of which, the s*x hormones are part of that.  No wonder viagra has become so popular in America.

    good luck to you
