  1. Every extra 3,500 calories are equivalent to 1lb of fat.  So over eating on a regular basis and yes you will start to put on weight.

If you consume more calories than you burn - you will put on weight.

But if you burn more calories than you consume - you will lose weight.

  2. Well, it depends.  Your body weight will increase from the actual weight of the food immediately.

In terms of adding fat, muscle, etc., your body breaks the food down in your stomach, it gets absorbed in the intestines, and then stored in the cells.

Binge eating every once in a while, while not good for you, generally doesn't create significant weight gain.  Most diets allow a 'cheat' day, simply because the body can only absorb so much.  If you eat a ton, chances are, it will mostly come out of your south end about 24 hours later.

You won't see significant weight gain from a single meal in terms of additional fat in the body.

  3. It will show up in 2-3 days not the very next day.

  4. If this was only a one time fluke, then don't let it get to your head. Your weight is more likely to fluctuate from water weight and undigested food. Throw in some extra exercise if you do this kind of thing often, otherwise just keep up normal living. It's not like the 2,000 calorie line is magical. Olympian swimmer Michael Phelps eats about 12,000 calories a day to keep up his energy since he burns so much swimming.

  5. Most likely it will not how up the next morning because during the night your body cuts down calories that you have taken in during the morning thats why people are always saying that breakfasts is the most important meal of the day so you can restore the calories you have lost. So the effects will probably show up two to three days later. But this can also vary because many people have different metabolisms. Now, if you're trying to gain weight I can help you with that because I'm trying to gain weight myself and after reading the information on this site I learned it really does help because in one week I already gained 8 pounds. Good Luck!!

  6. Isn't it a few weeks you have to wait till it shows up? I dunno, I guess you'll find out sooner or later

  7. I would think the affect would show pretty much just after you've eaten it all. You would feel bloated and weigh more and there would probably be a difference if you looked in the mirror.

During the night your body breaks down what you've eaten so you should find that you're actually lighter in the morning and look slimmer.

    Hope this helps :)

  8. I think it varies from person to person.  With me, I don't seem to see the results for another day or more.  For example, I'll cheat a little late one night, the next morning I will actually weigh less than I did the day before.  but then the next morning, I'll have seen the gain.  I don't know if that's the same for everyone, but that's the case with me.
