  1. sit opposit them..

  2. acroos and i would sit in the spot where its dark and candle is lit

  3. i would sit opposite, then you can se them, and take in what they say without having to keep turning round,at least if you face them you can see if they r handsome/pretty or not,lol

  4. I would rather sit across from them so that I can see their face when I am talking to them:) But, sometimes it is nice to sit on the same side to so you can cuddle, but only til the food comes:) Guys elbows always get in the way:)

  5. next to each other if we're boyfriend/girlfriend

across from each other I'm a right person..haha if dating.

  6. For me, it's better to sit beside the person. Aside from being close to the person, you can also easily share a bite with the person.

  7. I always sit opposite from my partner,it makes conversation & eye contact much easier but we can still be close physically since we're always entwined with our legs under the table.

  8. sit facing each other as it

    better for both

    i would

always pull the ladys chair out first

    for her to sit down

  9. Sit across from them, if you have any class

  10. The woman sits on the left the man on the right...

  11. Heh, this is funny.

My husband always wants to sit next to me, because he likes to feel close to me, whereas I want to be across from him so I can make eye contact when we talk.  Plus, he has the most gorgeous green eyes.. lol (we sound opposite of our gender lololol!!!!!)

  12. Sit opposite so you can see each other

  13. You should sit opposite them because then you are facing each other, which will allow you two to communicate more easily, play with your toes/legs, stare at each other's eyes, hold hands at the same time.  No problem with getting out of the seat.  Unfortunetly, the disadvantage is, you will need to lean if you wish to kiss.

  14. I prefer to sit across from my date.  It's much easier to hold a conversation as well as look at him at the same time.  Nice to have a sip of wine.  This is almost impossible to do if you are sitting side by side and trying to have a nice dinner at the same time.  I'll be sitting close enough when I get back into the car and besides the intimacy will be a little more private.

  15. .

  16. Personally speaking, I wouldn't sit on the table, I would use a chair. I think you will find that most restaurants have chairs.

  17. ETIQUETTE says you sit opposite?

  18. I like to sit across from them.

  19. If it is a date I always sit across so I can see thema nd talk to them. If we have been togethre for 6+ months then I sit next to him so I can sit close to him while waiting for our food.

  20. Depends on how they eat...No just kidding,I say sit across from each other so you can look face to face versus having to turn your neck.

  21. on the oposite side of the table facing them, and the male usully sits the side facing the television, as is the custom in this country

  22. sit where you can see each other face to face

  23. Sit across until it's time for dessert, then move in close! (so you can share dessert better  ;-)

  24. sitting on the oppostite seat becuase its more romantic u can luk in her/his eyes and just stare at them :)
