  1. no, it is not depression, it is your diet.  Avoid carbohydrates in the evening.  They are meant as an immediate energy for your body and you are waking up exhausted because your body is converting all of that energy into fat because it does not know what to do with it.  You are working it in your sleep.  Eat veges and protein in the evening and be sure to get @ least 15-30 minutes of some sort of exercise about 3 days a week.  Nothing strenuous or stressful.  It could be a walk, a bike ride, etc.  I read a fantastic book called Body By God and Dr. Lerner did a great job laying this all out in an easy to follow format in his book.  The link to his website is below.  Also drink plenty of water.

  2. I feel the same way in the morning, I eat like a ton of junk before bed or something and then i wake up with an anxious feeling but i'm not sure if its similar to yours

  3. This is your body telling you it wants more food.

Eat as much as you like you do not gain weight during sleep the food is just digested slower.

I stuff myself 24/7 and I end up not gaining any weight or losing. Because my body has a fast metablosim or slow I do not know.

But your body talks to you listen to it.
