  1. You don't have to be really skinny to have an eating disorder. It sounds like you are suffering from bulimia. Many girls who suffer from eating disorders are not necessarily bone-thin...most are average weight or overweight. You should look into getting some help.

  2. Yes, that is considered an eating disorder. You need some therapy and treatment very soon before it gets worse. If you let it go without treatment, it will get worse and you will get sicker.

  3. Yes but hopefully a minor disorder. Whatever happens try to eat as healthy as you can. Why do you work out ALOT if you have digested it???because that will just make you feel like you got to through up!

You should just understand your condition and if it becomes to serious consider seeing a doctor or get advice from someone who has or had an eating disorder.

                P.S. (FOOD IS GOOD!!!)

  4. Its not a really bad eating disorder, but it is one.  I suggest that you stop puking immedietly.  Its ok to say that you ate a lot one day so you will cut down on your calories the next day, but dont not eat at all. Im sure that you already know this, but you could faint. Then everyone would know your eating disorder and that would be pretty enbarassing. xD.

  5. Yes, before my daughter lost enough weight to be considered anorexic they labeled her NOS (Not otherwise specified) eating Disorder. Some things you can do to help yourself is to avoid leaving a television on at night. (The commercials that come on are designed to make you feel bad about yourself) Avoid reading most women's magazines as they too are designed to make you feel unhappy with yourself. Avoid watching reality "modeling" shows or weight loss shows. (Same reason) Do NOT go to pro-anna or Thinspo sites.

Also, you should tell your parents about this and see if they will be supportive and help you find a counselor who deals with this. Secrecy is a friend of eating disorders. The more people who know, the more people can help you with your problem.

EDIT: You can not be afraid to tell your parents. They won't be happy at first but they love you and will help you deal with it. Since eating disorders run in the family, you need to get this out in the open NOW. The longer you hide it and the longer you try to do it alone, the worse you will get and the harder it will be to come back from this. You might not be anorexic or bulimic yet but you are on your way. Don't let it go any further. Give your parents the option to help you even if you are scared to tell them. Just do it before it is too late to get the help you need!

  6. yeah... read stick figure... just do it.

  7. Yes you are considered to have a disorder.and you will die from that.Anything that isn't eating three times a day and snacks in a disorder.A lot of people don't know that you can get diabetes from your sugar being too low for too long, rather your skinny or fat.You need to go see a dr. so you can see what damage you have already done to your body.God provided us with food so that way we can eat,God doesn't want us to over eat, not do destructive things to our bodies like starve yourself to death either. Also what is the big deal who are you trying to impree in the Bible it also teaches that what people think about us is such a small thing so don't worry about it.Who cares if t.v. tells you that you should be a size zero, you live your life and seek God in all that you do and you'll be in my prayers.

  8. i kinda have the same thing minus the puking. i mean i would since you puke it out.

  9. yes... not eating consistently is bad for your body, and makes you gain weight even more. it sounds like you are pretty active but keep eating healthy and every thing should be fine.

  10. That's an eating disorder.  Does your user name have anything to do with the song "Ana's Song (Open Fire)" by Silverchair?

  11. yes if your not eating or puking up your food then you have an eating disorder. I would recomend seeing a doctor or talking to someone close about it!

  12. work out in moderation and eat when ur hungry

you could be headed to a more serious eating disorder

  13. yes you have anorexia AND bulemia problems.

you should go to a doctor, at least you are already

admitting you have a problem :) i wish you the best

of luck in getting over your eating disorders :)

  14. yeah you do, my friend who was overweight had anorexia, and she was categorized as anorexia because she had all teh symptoms and lost like 50+lbs over 2 months. eating disorders arent genetical (if thats the word, they dont have genes) its a mental sickness that doesnt run in families although the rest of your family might have one. coincidence, or their actions can lead you into the same thing. try talking to your mom, she had it so she knows what its like and shouldnt judge you or freak out

    answer mine please?

  17. This is definitely considered an eating disorder.

While it might be hard to come to terms with the fact you have trouble with keeping down meals or feeling alright about something you just ate, it is really important to recognize that you need to seek professional help.

It will really help you emotionally and will help you out with your health in the long run.

even if it just means letting someone close to you know that you are struggling with eating and want some support, its a great first step and you will feel alot better getting something like that off of your chest, promise.

  18. Yes. An overweight or obese person can be bulimic and anorexic.

  19. well, yes if you throw up on purpose then yeah its called BOILEMEA but idk if i spelled it right.  And if you eat for a week, and then don't, you should really talk to a doctor about it

  20. yes. you should try to talk to someone about this.

eating disorders usually start small... and they grow and grow over time, and before you know it, you're a mother and a wife and you eat 2/3 of a meal a day and bend over to tie your shoes and vomit creeps up and you accidentally throw it up...

  21. i started out like that. i had an eating disorder for almost a year..befor et developed into anorexia...

et was like an EDNOS (eating dissorder not other wise specified). i was not saveer enough to be called anorexic or n e thing. but et was an eating disorder none the less. you dont have to be super skinny to have and ED...

  22.    Maybe it goes deeper than that.  Maybe it is related to how you feel about yourself.  You eat a lot when you think you're too skinny, and then you worry if you put on a pound or two.  You need a really good friend, someone close to you that you see often.  You need to do things with them to get you on the right track.  Don't attach so much importance on how you look, but on how you feel about yourself.  You are the only person that knows how unique you really are.  Go out there and show the world what a wonderful healthy person you can be, it's your job.

  23. I'm not saying you are but when I was abusing Vicodin and also when I used Heroin I use to blow groceries all the time

  24. Yes, and its called bulimia..it sucks...but you can recover if you get treatment before it takes over your life and i promise you that it will. For me it started out just as a simple diet, then it turned to starving to purging 6 or more times a day, everyday for 4 years. I couldn't go to school and i cut everyone off...anyway it really ****** my life up and now i have a hiatal hernia..not to mention the enamel on my teeth is almost completely worn down (just from 4 years of purging) and i use to have perfect teeth. I also never got really skinny..i was about average even though i was vomiting 6 times a day. I would recommend going away to treatment, i have a couple friends went to remuda and it REALLY helped them. I refused to go to treatment and now i have relapsed. If you don't go to treatment at least try seeing a psychologist that specializes in eating disorders..sometimes it takes trying a few different ones to find one you click with.

The number one thing to remember is that you need to do this for yourself, no one else. And i know what you're thinking "ooh I'll stop throwing up from here on out", thats what i think and honestly have believe everynight..and it never happens.

  25. It sounds like you have an eating dis order =/

I'm not going to judge you because I know what you feel like, i had problems like so a year back. What helped was I talked about my problems with people and friends and they helped me out though my rough times.

perhaps seek treatment in some way or try a therapist or counselor.

you should wonderful about yourself, i'm sure you're a beautiful young girl.

I really hope you get better dear. best of luck  and take care.

  26. erm u have and eating disorder...even if its not all day every day what ur doing is exactly what an eating disorder is...u needa see a therapist and start connecting the deep dark dots on what ur problems are, why u have them, and everything beyond...good luck, it will be hard...there are therapists that are free i think...ud have to look them up that is if u dont have the money..if u do pay for sessions...its better to be healthy inside and out than avoid it till u see the major consequences.

  27. Even if your not "really really skinny" if you puke up your food and don't eat properly (and do not have a reason for it) you have an eating disorder. Please get help.

  28. Yeah. Even if you don't consider yourself to be underwight, you're fully showing the symptoms and should look into getting help. It's good that you've recognized you have a problem.

    Hope you get better, I know what it's like :-}
