  1. Just eat healthier and you shouldn't`t gain that much

  2. Well I went through the same thing not so long ago.

I wasn't eating for about 2 months, and I was 130, and dropped to 110lbs.

Afterwards I started eating right again, and I am a vegetarian so it didn't make that much of a difference at first, but after Christmas, you know with the family dinners and stuff, you gain weight. But I also started playing Lacrosse and rugby also, so I gained muscle weight, which is good, and you look good. So now I weight around 125 lbs. But I look healthy and that is all that matters.

I say it is a bad idea because there really is no point for how malnourished you will be, and how horrible looking you will look, because I just looked out of it. Just eat well, and excersize, I am sure you will hear that all the time, but do it. The scale doesn't count, just if you look at yourself in the mirror, and like it. Go with that, please.

  3. sounds like you're not over it. 125 is way too skinny for 5'6". I wouldn't worry about gaining weight, if I were you. You probably need to. You're 14!  it's so sad.

  4. I really don't think that 1.5 months is enough time to permanently s***w up your metabolism. I'm glad you're on the right track now. Good luck.

  5. No, you won't gain more weight. You really don't have an ED until you've been actively doing something unhealthy for several months so stop punishing yourself! You'll be fine. How can someone so young worry so much about weight? You have no idea what your body type is yet since you're still developing. As long as you are active and eating healthy, you have nothing to worry about.

  6. This is just my opinion I'm not a doctor or nurse or anything. But I'am a personal trainer and do deal with some nutrition information in my work. Seeings how your eating disorder was  only 1.5 months long and you only lost 8lbs. I can't imagine you gaining back your 8 that you dropped + 20,30,40 lbs etc.....  Your only 14 so I'm sure as you age and mature as a teen you will put on a few extra pounds 5 or so. But nothing that would cause you to think it was due from your eating disordrer.  The reason some girls or guys gain back the weight that they had loss + more is for a few reasons. They were starving themselves for so long that once they did start eating normally their body was in "starvation" mode and soaked up every bit of food they injested like a sponge and kept it as stored fat instead of burning it off. The body is smart and thinks basically we don't know when we will get food again because we went X amount of months years without food (basically) and so that is why the body stores the food and thus causing ppl to gain more weight.  I believe another reason is when a person starves themselves it slows their metabolism way way down. That is why people say Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. When your asleep your not eating so your metabolism slows way down. When a person wakes up and eats it kicks their metabolism in high gear and it continues to work throughout the day. For someone who doesn't eat their metabolism basically shuts off. And when the person recovers from their eating disorder they go back to normal eating but their metabolism is still really slow from not working. But you don't have to worry about that you only had an ED for 1.5 months. I'am positive that you won't gain any extra weight due from it. Lots of Luck
