Eating for volleyball?!?!?

Well I already have meals planned out for tryouts. But what are good meals that volleyball players eat. Especially when you go out to eat. we are going to a chinese buffet today HUGE selection what would be ideal to eat?

  1. noodles are great-they give you lots of energy


  2. For your meals @ home i would recommend lots of fruits and vegetables, along with some good carbs, like whole wheat, and the like. But do not eat any of those fatty fake human generated fats, such as things that include a lot of fructose corn syrup and trans fat. They will weigh you down, and make you feel horrible. So avoid the things that are fried to death in fat. But steer towards the soups + the steamed vegetables when you are at the Chinese restaurant which tend to have lots of good nutrition. You can have fried food, but just eat it in moderation.

  3. Protein in the form of beef, steam chicken and broccolli, brown rice...go healty....and always eat at least 4 to 5 hours before playing otherwise you will berp up the food you ate.
