Is there any difference between say;

Making your own juice by using the mixer of say 2 apples, a banana and some grapes and then drinking it COMPARED to eating 2 apples, a banana and some grapes? I was wondering if thjere weas a difference because if there is no difference, i might as well mix al the fruit i eat and drink it and save time rather than eating it.

  1. Both would be okay

  2. Chewing causes you to salivate and add enzymes to the food.  This could improve digestion and absorption of nutrients.  But by and large, I think your strategy is sound.  Just don't take the fiber out with a juicer - use a blender. (I think you already are)

    Just a tip - berries are usually more nutritious than other fruit.  Blueberries are in season now.

  3. no, it's the same.

  4. You're not getting the fiber if you juice, that's the only drawback.

  5. well i wouldn't see a difference. The fruit would simply be in another more processed form or a "mixture". It would be exactly the same unless you added some other ingredients.

  6. The difference is you may not be getting all of the "meat" of the fruit, thus leaving out some of the fiber. It is better to eat the fruit but second best would be to drink it homemade. Fruit juice that is processed is not as good as the above 2.

  7. first of all, the fruits have their natural fibers and everything else. you loose some of the nutritional value when you do that. just eat the fruit. and you technically aren't saving any time because you have to squeeze the juice, which can be difficult and time consuming.
